VSx-LED

LED Group

VSx-LED is a new tool in Landru Design's VideoScreen family of VectorWorks® Plug-In Objects. VSx-LED allows users to insert models of low-resolution LED arrays, like VersaTube®, ColourWeb®, SoftLED®, and MiPix® in their drawings.

VSx-LED works with VectorWorks® versions 12.5 or newer - INCLUDING 2009 - and will run on both Windows and Mac computers. VSx-LED requires an installation of VideoScreen 3 in order to be fully functional.

Key Features

  • VSx-LED creates different module shapes, including tubes, disks, and tiles.
  • VSx-LED creates arrays based on module size and shape, module counts, module spacing, and/or array size.
  • Parameters are easily changed through the familiar VectorWorks® Object Info Palette.
  • VSx-LED maps images across the LED modules, taking into account "negative space" between modules. Like its VideoScreen siblings, VSx-LED stores stock images in a central storage file - and will also map custom images.
  • VSx-LED has the ability to place different array elements into separate VectorWorks® Classes.
  • VSx-LED can display information about the array on drawings.

Please download the pdf file from HERE for detailed instructions as to how to use VSx-LED.

For a limited time, VSx-LED is only available as a stand-alone product for current VideoScreen 3 (Basic or Plus) users. In the event that VSx-LED is incorporated into a future version of VideoScreen 3Plus, users who have purchased VSx-LED will be given an appropriate discount on the purchase or upgrade cost.

The cost of VSx-LED is $25US.

VideoScreen was an original idea of C. Andrew Dunning of Landru Design - with endless gratitude to Gerard Jonker of Jonker&Wu for his helping the initial vision to become reality.
